It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that the INFLIBNET Centre is organizing a free webinar on Optimizing Research Outcomes Through Effective Data Management Approaches.

The INFLIBNET Centre has been awarded a project to create awareness about open science and research data preservation in India. DataCite is an international organization that provides persistent identifiers (DOIs) for research data and promotes data citation practices to facilitate data discovery, access, and reuse.

The webinar under the Outreach Programme aims to empower researchers, institutions, and organizations to unlock the full potential of their research data through best practices, tools, and community engagement. In alignment with INFLIBNET's objectives of promoting open science and research data management, the webinar will cover the following major topics:

• Provide an overview of the Open Research Data and its significance in the context of data citation and metadata standards.
• Discuss the Data Management Plan.
• Discuss the importance of data citation and metadata standards for enhancing data discoverability, accessibility, and reusability.
• Explore case studies and examples of data repository (NRDR) initiatives and implementations.
• Facilitate discussions and knowledge sharing among participants on best practices, challenges, and opportunities in research data management and citation.
