WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR GRADUATE APPRENTICES (LIBRARY SCIENCE)

A Walk-In-Interview will be held on 9^th October, 2019, Wednesday at this Institute between 10.00 to 13.00 hrs. for selection of suitable / eligible candidates as GRADUATE APPRENTICES (Library Science) under the Apprenticeship Aet, 1961 enacted by Government of India:

Age Limit                      18 to 28 years as on 01.10.2019

Stipend payable        Rs.11,500/- per month (Consolidated)

Educational Qualification :

• Three years Graduate Degree preferably in Science with Degree in Library Information Science/M.Lib. Sc. from recognized University. 
• Knowledge of computer applications.

Only fresh passed out students those who have not undergone similar such apprenticeship are eligible for undergoing apprenticeship training. Those who have passed the qualifying examination before three years are not eligible for apprenticeship training. The offer of apprenticeship will not confer any right for his / her regular appointment in NIV / ICMR or any Department of Government of India. Necessary Certificate will be issued only on successful completion of one year apprenticeship training at this Institute.

Interested eligible candidates may attend the Walk-In-Interview at the Institute along with application in the format given and all the original certificates / testimonials / Photo ID & its self attested photocopies. Candidates are also requested to fill attached application form with photo copies of all documents and submit the same during Walk-in-Interview. Candidates may also bring two recent passport size photographs without specs. Candidates will have to attend the interview at their own expenses. Canvassing in any form shall be treated as disqualification. Director, NIV reserves the right of this selection process and his/her decision is final and binding.
